HerReset is the artist moniker of Daniela Solis, representing the conscious intentional reset of the mind to return to authentic creation. A Harvard graduate in Government and Theater, Dance, and Media, she is a multidisciplinary artist working across large-scale murals, wire sculptures, installations, dance, and intuitive writing. Infused with the energy of global subcultures—from Berlin, Tokyo, and São Paulo along with electronic soundscapes—her work investigates consciousness, technology, and what it truly means to be human.

Description: Created as the final performance piece for TDM 172B: Performing Outside the Theater, taught by Tania Bruguera at Harvard University. The piece is a direct, unguarded confrontation with self-sabotage, the pressure to perform normalcy, and the cost of refusing to suppress one's truth. Performed live for the class as the culmination of a semester spent displacing theatrical form into unscripted, lived environments.

Note an auto-ethnographic solo performance exploring the transformation of personal trauma, childhood solitude, and grief into radical self-love and spiritual freedom. Set against the backdrop of Berlin rave culture, the narrative follows a late-night encounter between the artist and a grieving psychotherapist, bridging raw personal confession with philosophical inquiry.

The performance integrates spoken word, movement, and theory to propose that the human ego functions as humanity's very first artificial intelligence—a synthetic, protective operating system installed in childhood to survive pain. Through physical gesture and vocal release, the piece demonstrates how deconstructing this internal code allows one to move past conditioning, access authentic presence, and transmute darkness into light.
